Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what's needed to run GPS races: account info, your courses, your runs (with GPS traces), your vehicles, and optional fuel logs. By default your runs are public on leaderboards. You can mark any run private, set new runs private by default, or delete them.

What we collect

Account — email, username, display name, optional avatar.
Vehicles — make, model, year, your P.O.V. photo.
Courses — name, description, start/finish coordinates, recorded path, optional pit stops.
Runs — full GPS trace, time, top/avg speed, pit stops, weather snapshot, optional fuel cost.
Social — who you follow, who you block, run reports.
Device — basic logs, IP, user agent for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To operate the App: time your runs, draw your routes, rank you on leaderboards, show your profile to other racers, and prevent cheating/abuse. We do not sell your data.

Location data

GPS is collected only while you're actively recording a course or running a race. We don't track you in the background. Course start/finish coordinates and run traces are stored on our servers. Don't create a course at your home address if you don't want it shown publicly — there is no automatic blurring.

Sharing & visibility

Public by default: profiles, courses, vehicles, and runs are visible to anyone.
Private runs: marked-private runs are visible only to you.
Default-private toggle: in your profile, future runs start private.
Blocks: blocked users won't appear in your feed or leaderboards.

Third-party services

We use Lovable Cloud for backend storage and authentication, OpenStreetMap (and Open-Meteo) for maps and weather. Map and weather requests send approximate coordinates to those providers.

Your controls & rights

Edit or delete any vehicle, course, or run from the App.
Mark any run private; set new runs private by default.
Block any user from your view of leaderboards and feed.
Request account deletion through the in-app feedback link.
EU/UK/CA residents: you have rights to access, correct, port, and delete personal data.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your profile and runs. Aggregated, non-identifying stats may be retained.

Children

The App isn't intended for users under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We'll post updates here and notify you in-app for material changes.
